Current Obsessions
Stoicism. Not as an aesthetic or a Twitter bio. As a daily operating system. The Dichotomy of Control keeps showing up everywhere, in network design, in travel, in how I handle situations I can't route around.
Food. Not just cooking, the whole thing. The sourcing, the technique, the culture behind a dish. Every recipe I make is an attempt to understand a place without going there first. Sometimes it works.
Football. Galatasaray. Always. Non-negotiable. This is not a phase and I don't need to justify it.
The gap between people who use AI as a tool and people who understand it as infrastructure. Most people are still clicking buttons. A small number are building the pipes. That gap is going to widen fast.
What's in the Queue
- 📺YouTube rabbit holes, Stoicism breakdowns, off-grid builds, hostal & hospitality projects, cooking techniques, football tactics. The algorithm has figured me out at this point.
- 🏡Eco-hostal research, Actively scouting locations. Land costs, permits, sustainable build models, climate. The idea is serious even if the timeline isn't fixed yet.
- 🥗Dieting & intermittent fasting, Experimenting with protocols. Treating it like a system to debug, not a punishment to endure.
- 🐕Getting a Cane Corso, Researching breeders, training philosophies, and whether my lifestyle is actually ready for a dog that size. Probably yes.
Skills in Progress
- 🌐SD-WAN & enterprise networking, Still deepening. Cisco certifications are active. The infrastructure world moves slower than AI but the stakes are higher.
- ⚡Agentic AI architectures, ReAct loops, memory systems, tool use. The gap between a chatbot and an agent is enormous and most people don't understand where it is.
- 🐍Python automation, Getting serious about async patterns and building things that survive contact with the real world.
- 📸Studio & portrait lighting, One light, intentional placement, understanding what the shadow is doing. Still learning to see before pressing the shutter.
- 🖨️3D printing, FDM, multi-material, functional prints. The Anycubic Kobra 2 Max is a workhorse. Still finding its limits.
Intentional Absences
Not on social media. Not scrolling. Not in meetings that could have been an email. Not running, never running. Swimming instead.
Not disclosing my location. Not in a mysterious way, just not relevant. Somewhere with good internet and interesting people is enough of an answer.
Not settling. The next pin on the map needs to be right, not fast.
